renowned, appreciated wines.<\/p>\n<p>The hills and the mountains still preserve their beautiful naturalistic aspects, castles , medieval burgs, monasteries and ancient abbeys.\u00a0After admiring the <strong>Abbey of Chiaravalle della Colomba<\/strong>, founded in 1135 and still inhabited by the monks, with its beautiful square cloister with ogive arches and suggestive illustrated capitals, we will visit a producer of <strong>Pancetta <\/strong>and<strong> Coppa<\/strong>, two typical cured meats of the hills of Piacenza.<\/p>\n<p>You will be told all the secrets of these products, visiting the production sites together with the artisans, the producers of these delicacies. The visit will end with tasting, a delicious experience for your palate!<\/p>\n<p>After a walk through the medieval village of <strong>Castell&#8217;Arquato<\/strong>, one of the prettiest medieval villages in the countryside south of the Po river, tucked into beautiful folded hills, we will have a typical gourmand lunch in a <strong>family run trattoria <\/strong>or a local <strong>winery<\/strong>, to discover the aromas and flavours of the hills of\u00a0Piacenza!<\/p>\n<p>Last stop is the medieval hamlet of <strong>Vigoleno<\/strong>, set on the top of an impressive rock spur. Walking down its winding lanes and narrow streets, enveloped in a magic atmosphere, we will have the possibility of enjoying \u00a0breathtaking views over the vine-clad hills of the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<p>The visit will end with a special tasting of <em>Vin Santo di Vigoleno<\/em>&#8230; an incredible dessert wine closely bound to this land.
