The artist was celebrated during the Seventeenth Century for grace and naturalness, which made him one of the great masters of the Renaissance, and later for the novelty and dynamism of the iconographies adopted in the domes of Parma, for which he is often considered a forerunner of the Baroque period.<\/p>\n
