“Sunday at the Museum” is back, the MIBACT initiative which provides free entrance to state museums ad archeological sites every first Sunday of the month.

On this occasion, meant to promote the Italian historical, artistic and cultural heritage, Artemilia Parma Tour Guides proposes a special Parma City Tour to discover some of Parma’s finest masterpieces: “Discover Parma’s Treasures”.

Admire Parma’s treasures on a unique Parma City Tour dedicated to its medieval and renaissance history, strolling through medieval streets and among ancient buildings with an Artemilia Parma Tour Guide you will listen to the stories of medieval sculptors, architects, renaissance painters, monks, abbesses and noble dukes and discover something more of the fascinating history of this town.

On this Parma City Tour you will explore Piazza Duomo, with the Cathedral (inside) and the Baptistery (outside), among the most outstanding Romanesque works of art, and be introduced to the tucked away places where time stands still, visiting the Camera di San Paolo and the Old Apothecary of Saint John the Evangelist.

The tour lasts 2 hours and a half.

Meeting with the Artemilia Parma Tour Guide  in front of the Cathedral at 10:20 am.

This tour is for individuals and groups and booking is not necessary.

Fees: Guided Tour cost: euro 10,00; free for children under 18 years of age accompanied by an adult. Cathedral entrance fee: euro 2,00; free for children under 12. There are no Museums entrance fees to be paid.
