GUIDED TOUR IN PARMA FOR THE 2019 CULTURE WEEK

The Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities and Tourism promotes the Culture Week this year again. The Culture Week is dedicated to the promotion of Italian museums and cultural sites, opening for 6 days the doors of museums, villas, monuments, archaeological areas, archives and state libraries throughout the national territory with free entrance fee.
The Culture Week, born to transmit the love for art and the knowledge of the immense Italian heritage, offers a rich calendar of events, exhibitions, conferences, extraordinary openings, educational workshops, guided tours and concerts.
On the occasion of the Culture Week, the Artemilia Tourist Guides will put their professionalism at the disposal of the public proposing two guided tours on Saturday 9th March and Sunday 10th March 2019, to discover some of the most important museums of the town of Parma.

RENAISSANCE TREASURES IN PARMA
Guided tour to discover the Chamber of the Abbess and the Ancient Apothecary of Saint John the Evangelist in Parma.
The itinerary is dedicated to two of the most important Benedictine monasteries of the town of Parma, the Benedictine convent of Saint Paul and the Benedictine monastery of Saint John the Evangelist, places of faith that were important centers of power and culture during Renaissance.
The meeting point with the tourist guide of Artemilia Guided Tour in Parma and Emilia Romagna is in front of the ticket office of the Chamber of the Abbess at 3:50 pm. Departure at 4:00 pm. The visit takes about 2 hours. Fees: guided tour cost € 10,00; free for children under 18 years of age accompanied by an adult. There are no Museums entrance fees to be paid. Reservation is required.
