In Parma with Toscanini
March 25th, 2017 is the 150th anniversary of Arturo Toscanini’s birth and the Municipality of Parma intends to celebrate this important anniversary with a calendar of activities and initiatives carried out in collaboration with regional, national and international organizations, foundations and institutions.
“In Parma, with Toscanini” is an intense programme of three days on March Thursday 23, Friday 24 and Saturday 25. These are the initiatives that will take place in Parma to celebrate Arturo Toscanini’s anniversay and will end on June 30t of 2018, which will also touch Milan, Bologna, Busseto and Verbania.

Possibility to attend open rehearsals of the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini directed by Francesco Lanzillotta, and the projection of the documentary film “Toscanini inedito, tra ricordi e immagini mai viste”
