Parma 360 Festival of contemporary creativity
After the success of the first edition, the Festival of contemporary creativity is back in Parma for the second time: a 360° view on contemporary italian creativity and to the new one coming up.
From April 1st to May 14th, in different public and private spaces in town, exhibitions, installations, photography, painting, illustration, graphic and music will show how art can be a developing engine and a mean of social transformation.
The events:
At Palazzetto Eucherio Sanvitale, in the Ducal park, exhibition De rerum natura. Tribute to Nino Migliori.
At Pigorini Palace, in Strada Repubblica, two exhibitions dedicated to posters and illustrations graphic. At the first floor Il colore delle stelle. Mitographies of feminine in the posters of the Csac collections.
At second floor Lapis: contemporary illustrators presents researches on illustration and graphic by Marco Cazzato, Riccardo Guasco, Pablo Lobato, Elisa Talentino.
The San Ludovico Gallery in Borgo del Parmigianino will host the exhibition NonpotreiusareilverdesenoncifosseMarioSchifano by Giacomo Cossio.
The Oratory Santa Maria della Pace, titled BDC28, opens with the exhibition BDC11: celebrities, featuring photo portraits of famous people of three different scenes: Rome in the 50s/60s, New York in the 70s/80s, and Parma of today.
The House of Sound, in the former church of Santa Elisabetta, hosts the exhibition Music Faces by the international photographer Luciano Viti.
Urban installations:
Installations of urban art by the artists Paolo Ceribelli and Mr. Savethewall.
Kiosk of Piazza della Steccata
Reopening of the19th century kiosk of Piazza della Steccata through a display dedicated to the work of Vincenzo Gardoni.
Concerts at the former pharmacy San Filippo Neri – San Tiburzio Palace.
With a vision of reuseing forgotten city spaces, this building will open for concerts, exhibitions and art events.
