CELEBRATE FATHER’S DAY WITH ARTEMILIA

Guided tours on the occasion of St. Joseph Fair 2019

On March 19th St. Joseph is celebrated, a celebration that has its roots in popular tradition and that is also recognized as Father’s Day. In Parma, St. Joseph means a double feast, in relation to the historic fair that animates the Oltretorrente neighborhood every year with the summer season. On Sunday March 17th 2019 in fact the oldest neighborhood fair of Parma is back again: St. Joseph Fair.

St. Joseph Fair 2019 will develop as every year on the main streets of the Oltretorrente neighborhood, hosting a variety of activities: orchestras, street artists, musicians who will follow one another along the pathways of the neighborhood to entertain thousands of passersby. There will be different types of exhibitors, from crafts to traders, from organic food producers to associations. Via Imbriani will collect the craftsmanship and hand-made crafts, Piazzale Picelli will be dedicated to hemp and chili and via Bixio will host the neighborhood  stores who will enliven the street with their services. There will be two areas of Street Food and an area for shows.
